How we work

Communication is our expertise and we ensure that clients are fully informed at all stages of a project.

• Project management
  Each client is assigned a lead consultant and a 'back up' consultant to manage their project work. This system means that there is always someone in the office who understands the specific requirements of each client, it also means that if the lead consultant is out of the office then there is no awkward handover period where the 'back up' finds their feet.
  
  We hold daily internal update meetings including all members of the SHILLING team to discuss progress on jobs and to move work around if necessary to achieve tight deadlines.
• Fixed fees
  Our policy is to set and agree a budget at the start of all communication exercises. We will stick to this budget unless there are changes to the specification which cause the project to overrun, in which case, the client will be informed as soon as it is apparent so that there are no unexpected ‘surprises’ at the end of a project. Our sophisticated project management system allows us to monitor budget at all stages on a project.
