BT is one of the world's largest providers of communication services, operating in more than 170 countries around the world.

Project description

During 2008 BT underwent a review of its UK based pension arrangements. Working within tight timescales we helped BT to develop a strategic communication plan for the process. Announcements were sent to employees alerting them to the review. Focus groups were held to establish how members wanted to receive communication. A website was created (www.btpensionsreview.net) and included video feeds, an online Q&A feedback system and a pension modeller. A consultation booklet was produced including examples of how the proposed changes would affect members.This comprehensive communication package helped to achieve a positive vote from the union ballots held by CWU and Connect in response to all proposals.
