Newsletters
Schemes should develop regular communication channels with members. This approach helps to build trust and will improve levels of member understanding and appreciation of pension benefits.
A newsletter can include information from the trustee report and accounts, including an overview of the financial position of the scheme, membership statistics and any key dates or announcements. The newsletter should include updates on what is happening in the world of pensions in terms of new legislation and Government proposals. It can also be used as an education tool to provide members with investment information so they feel better informed and more able to make important decisions affecting retirement savings.
Newsletters can be produced in paper or using our innovative e-magazine format. Examples of both options are included below, but for more information please contact katie@shilling.co.uk.
