As NAG’s communication partner, one of our major tasks was to develop the benefit statements for both the DB and DC pension scheme members. As the one piece of communication that the majority of members will take the time to look at NAG wanted the statements to work harder to connect with members. Together with NAG we carried out a complete review of the format of the original statements to identify opportunities to engage on a more personal level.Both statements were redesigned from scratch, adopting a high impact style which highlights the most important issues in a simple, powerful way.The statements have been extremely well received and the CFO of NAG UK recently contacted the Group pensions department to say this year’s statement was the ‘best he has ever received’
